Follow the instruction below to use FORCES Pro on your machine.
- Download the FORCES Pro client here.
Installation for MATLAB®/Simulink® Interface
- Add the path of the downloaded folder 'FORCES_PRO' to the MATLAB® path by either using the command 'addpath DIRNAME' (e. g. 'addpath /home/user/matlab/FORCES_PRO') in the command window or set the path to the 'FORCES_PRO' folder via the graphical user interface of MATLAB®.
- Now you are ready to create your real time high performance controller. For instructions on how to design a controller via the MATLAB® interface of FORCES Pro click here and for instructions on how to design a controller via the Simulink® GUI of FORCES Pro click here.
Installation for Python Interface
Download Python 2.7 or newer. To use the Python interface, additionally download the external Python packages scipy, numpy, suds and SOAPpy. For more details and download links please see the Section ‘System Requirements’ here.
Add the 'FORCES_PRO' client folder to the Python search path by adding
into the .bash_profile. The instruction on how to add the Python path is Mac/UNIX specific.
To check whether the installation was successful download the 'Simple MPC Example' from here and run the code by typing
