Embotech at Volkswagen Group Services event "The Showroom"

Driving industrial automation forward. At the recent Volkswagen Group Services GmbH event #ShowroomVWGS, Embotech and Volkswagen Group Services presented how autonomous technologies are already improving industrial logistics.

We showcased two solutions side by side, demonstrating how we enable end-to-end automation — from yard material flows to finished vehicle logistics:

• Autonomous Terminal Tractor (ATT): Our ATT was exhibited at the entrance of the event allowing guests to see the tech behind the vehicle. ‍

• Automated Vehicle Marshalling (AVM): The lidar-based perception for our AVM solution was running in the exhibition hall showcasing how our algorithms identify and classify objects in real time.

The event also underscored the strength of our collaboration with #VWGS, building on the success of last year’s ATT pilot in Wolfsburg. During that pilot, our ATT autonomously transported materials across the factory grounds — even through a tunnel without GPS or network connection.
