Embotech’s AVM solution is built on an infrastructure-based autonomy model, where the intelligence resides in the factory - not the vehicle. No sensors or onboard self-driving systems are required in the vehicle.
The system uses lidars mounted in the factory infrastructure to localize each finished vehicle with centimeter-level accuracy. These lidars continuously scan the environment, identifying static and dynamic objects in real time.
Our offboard autonomy stack handles:
Perception: Detecting and classifying objects
Predictions: Estimating object behavior
Planning: Computing safe and efficient trajectories
The driving trajectories are transmitted wirelessly to the vehicle 10 times per second, in compact data packets of around 150 bytes.
Our Vehicle Management System integrates directly with the factory backend. It assigns missions to each vehicle and ensures optimal logistics throughput.
Our AVM solution is already deployed in 3 factories while another 3 are already planned. The only solution which is deployed in real-life conditions and driving thousands of cars every day.
