Embotech receives funding for its “Motion Planning Software for Autonomous Car Industry” from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 836777. Horizon 2020 is investing in smart and sustainable SME solutions for the future with emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges. How does Embotech fit in there? With the embedded motion planning technology, Embotech helps OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, mobility providers and automotive engineering companies. The result is an increased performance of their ADAS features and an increased level of autonomy of their vehicles as well as an accelerated path to safe autonomous and affordable taxi services and to smart parking through autonomous valet parking capabilities, facilitating simultaneous parking to increase space efficiency and throughput.
